Glass Pack for CB360?

topic posted Sun, April 8, 2007 - 8:33 PM by  david
I want to replace the rusty mufflers on my 74 CB360. I like the look and affordablity of slash-cut glass pack mufflers, but I don't want to be annoyingly loud.

Does anyone have any experience with glass pack's on small Hondas or should I just order them and find out the hard way?

a propane torch, a crowbar, a vice (or other clamping devices ) and a good thick set of leather gloves and you can pretty much use any pipes you find at a yard that have the same diameter at the cylinder head.

You should be fine. The nice thing about that kind of muffler is they're quiet when the pressure is low (easy on the throttle!) and perform nicely when you give 'er. Just ride softly in your neighborhood, and like you want to out on the highway. Good advice for any motorcycle. Don't piss off the neighbors, and they won't pass laws that will piss you off...
